Job Description
The Technology Officer will report to the Specialist – IT Production Assurance and is responsible for ensuring governance readiness for new IT installations, system enhancements, and infrastructure changes in alignment with the bank’s standards, policies, and objectives. The role oversees IT release management and change enablement processes while coordinating with ITIL-associated functions to ensure efficient, secure, and compliant deployment of technology projects.
Duties, Roles and Responsibilities
- Ensure proper change and release management compliance within the production environment.
- Collaborate with the PMO to schedule, plan, and control software delivery through the release management process.
- Conduct production environment technology project readiness assessments and provide implementation support.
- Coordinate and supervise IT project changes in the production environment according to bank policies and standards.
- Enforce User Acceptance Testing (UATs) and Post Implementation Reviews (PIRs) for key projects and IT changes.
- Manage Change Advisory Board (CAB) secretarial tasks and schedule maintenance sessions.
- Prepare reports on project status, staging, and upcoming changes.
- Operate within ITIL service management and project management frameworks to ensure effective delivery of technology initiatives.
