Job Title: Team Leader – Site Coordination (EACOP Project)

Location: Uganda (Site-based)

Contract Duration: 18 Months

Start Date: October 2025

Project Overview

The East African Crude Oil Pipeline (EACOP) is a major cross-border infrastructure project designed to transport crude oil from Uganda’s oil fields to the Tanzanian coast. Schneider Electric leads the integration of Electrical, Instrumentation, and Telecommunications Systems (EITS), essential for the pipeline’s safe and efficient operation. Given the project’s scale and complexity, effective site coordination is critical to meeting key milestones.

The Team Leader – Site Coordination plays a vital role in ensuring smooth daily field operations, resource scheduling, and collaboration among internal teams, subcontractors, and other stakeholders, all while adhering to Schneider Electric’s technical, safety, and operational standards.

Position Summary

The Team Leader – Site Coordination manages the daily scheduling and coordination of all on-site activities, ensuring alignment with project timelines, resource plans, and operational objectives. The role requires close interaction with subcontractors, design teams, document controllers, procurement, and logistics to ensure compliance with local regulations and Schneider Electric’s safety protocols. This position demands a proactive leader with excellent organizational and communication skills experienced in large infrastructure projects.
