Job Description
Reporting to management, the Tax Associate will maintain accurate financial records, prepare financial statements and budgets, oversee receivables/payables and payroll, and lead tax management (direct and indirect taxes, filings, reconciliations, and correspondence). The role includes monitoring restaurant/bar performance, implementing controls, supporting audits, and advising on cost control and cash-flow. The position requires flexibility to work with minimal supervision and occasionally on weekends/public holidays.

How to Apply
Maintain complete and accurate books of account and transaction documentation.
Prepare and analyze financial statements, budgets, forecasts, and variance reports.
Manage revenue collection processes across business units (restaurant, bar, and others).
Lead tax management: prepare, file, and ensure compliance with all statutory obligations.
Oversee accounts payable/receivable, bank and ledger reconciliations, and payroll processing.
Support cost control, cash-flow management, and profitability analysis.
Track financial performance of hospitality operations; recommend corrective actions.
Produce timely management reports and advise on strategic decisions.
Ensure strong internal controls and compliance with regulatory frameworks.
Liaise with auditors, suppliers, and other external stakeholders.

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
Professional certification preferred (CPA finalist/ICPAK registration is an added advantage).
Minimum 3–5 years’ accounting experience, with at least 2 years in restaurant/bar/hospitality.
Strong knowledge of F&B cost management and financial reporting.
Proven expertise in taxation and statutory compliance.
Proficiency with accounting software (QuickBooks, Sage, Tally, or similar) and MS Excel.
Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and problem-solving ability.
Flexible, dependable, able to work with minimal supervision and on short notice (including weekends/public holidays).
