Job Description
The Supply Chain Management Interns will assist the Corporation’s procurement and stores functions, including supporting the implementation of procurement processes, managing supplies and records, and ensuring compliance with relevant policies and regulations. The internship is designed to equip recent graduates with practical skills and exposure to supply chain operations in a government institution.
Duties, Roles and Responsibilities
Assist in the preparation of procurement documents and reports.
Support the stores and inventory management function.
Participate in the implementation of supply chain policies and procedures.
Help maintain accurate procurement and stores records.
Contribute to compliance monitoring in line with government procurement regulations.
Support other tasks within the Supply Chain Management department as assigned.
Qualifications, Education and Competencies
Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Logistics, or a related field from a recognized institution.
Graduated within the last three (3) years.
Must be unemployed and without prior relevant work experience.
Must not have benefited from a similar internship program.
Strong organizational and record-keeping skills.
Good communication and interpersonal abilities.
Willingness to learn and adapt in a professional environment.
Additional Requirements for Successful Candidates:
Valid personal medical insurance cover (NHIF or reputable provider).
Registration with the National Social Security Fund (NSSF).
Valid Certificate of Good Conduct from the Directorate of Criminal Investigation.
Personal accident insurance for the duration of the internship.
Kenya Revenue Authority (KRA) PIN.
