Job Description
Reporting to the Supply Chain Analytics Manager, the Supply Chain Analyst will be responsible for delivering high-quality data analysis across supply chain projects, supporting demand forecasting, capacity planning, and network strategy. The role involves bridging gaps between operational challenges and data-driven solutions while collaborating with multiple business units, including Retail, to optimize stock cover and supply chain performance. The analyst will also contribute to the enhancement of existing forecasting models, development of network strategies, and implementation of data visualization tools to support business growth.
Duties, Roles and Responsibilities
Provide high-quality analysis for the Supply Chain Development team across multiple projects.
Enhance existing volume and capacity forecast models.
Align with the Retail department on stock cover and related supply chain issues.
Contribute to the development of the Supply Chain network model and strategy.
Bridge the gap between problem cases and data from multiple systems and inputs.
Identify areas where metrics and data insights are needed to improve results.
Apply advanced statistical methods and data analysis techniques in Python, R, and SQL.
Develop and present insights using data visualization tools.
Work under strict deadlines and manage multiple priorities.
Proactively identify and implement solutions to supply chain issues.
Qualifications, Education and Competencies
Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Computer Science, Applied Mathematics, Data Science, or a related field.
Minimum of 3 years’ experience in Data Analytics, preferably within supply chain, retail, or e-commerce.
At least 3 years’ experience applying statistical methods (e.g., regression, forecasting, modeling) using Python and R.
Minimum 3 years’ experience with SQL scripting.
At least 2 years’ experience using data visualization tools such as PowerBI, Tableau, Qlik, or Looker.
Advanced proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel.
Strong problem-solving, analytical, and critical thinking skills.
Ability to multitask, work under tight deadlines, and deliver results.
Excellent work ethic, with a proactive and solutions-oriented mindset.
Strong understanding of supply chain operations and ability to apply data insights to practical solutions.
Experience with AI models and prompt engineering will be an added advantage.
