Job Description
National Housing and Construction Company Limited (NHCC) is seeking two Structural Draftspersons to contribute to the attainment of NHCCL strategic objectives and goals through the preparation of working structural drawings for housing plans, as directed and within the overall project scope.
Duties, Roles and Responsibilities
- Prepare working drawings from structural sketches and produce detailed drawings to be used in project plans.
- Carry out site inspections and assist foremen and masons with interpretation of structural drawings.
- Ensure all related documentation (structural working drawings) are effectively kept under lock and key.
- Consult the Structural Engineer on a day-to-day basis to ensure production of appropriate, complete and accurate building plans.
- Perform all duty roles within the internal operating standards of NHCC and the professional ethics of structural draftspersons.
- Provide timely and accurate reports related to the preparation of working drawings as required by supervisor and management.
