Job Description
AGRICADO Farms is looking for a detail-oriented and reliable Store Keeper to manage our farm’s inventory. As the Store Keeper, you will be responsible for overseeing the receipt, storage, and distribution of farm supplies, equipment, and other materials. You will also maintain accurate records of inventory levels and ensure that all items are stored in compliance with safety regulations.
Duties, Roles and Responsibilities
Inventory Management:
Receive and inspect deliveries of goods and supplies.
Ensure accurate inventory records of farm products, tools, and equipment.
Record stock items, quantities, and location in the storage area.
Conduct regular physical inventory checks and reconcile discrepancies.
Report low stock levels and coordinate with the procurement team for reorders.
Storage and Organization:
Organize and categorize farm supplies and materials to ensure easy accessibility.
Maintain a clean, orderly, and safe storage environment.
Ensure proper labeling and stacking of items to avoid damage or spoilage.
Issuing and Distribution:
Issue supplies and equipment to farm staff based on requests.
Keep track of issued items and ensure returns are properly recorded.
Verify the quantity and condition of items returned.
Documentation and Reporting:
Maintain accurate records of all inventory transactions (receipts, issues, returns).
Prepare weekly or monthly inventory reports for the management team.
Ensure proper documentation for stock movements in and out of the store.
Compliance and Safety:
Ensure all items are stored and handled in accordance with health, safety, and environmental guidelines.
Keep track of the expiration dates of perishable goods and farm chemicals.
Ensure the storage area is compliant with relevant agricultural standards.
Collaboration:
Work closely with the procurement and farm operations teams to ensure seamless supply management.
Assist in managing the farm’s budget by monitoring the usage and reordering of supplies.

Qualifications, Education and Competencies
Job Requirements:
• Diploma/Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture/Horticulture
• Minimum 3 years of experience in the field
• Experience with vegetable production (peppers & other Solanaceous vegetables)
• Good communication skills
• Proficiency in English, Luganda, and/or Kiswahili
• Willingness to live on a remote farm
