How to Apply
Maintain Stock Levels: Monitor stock movement, forecast demand, and ensure timely replenishment while avoiding overstocking.
Manage Orders & Transfers: Process purchase orders, oversee deliveries, coordinate internal transfers, and manage disposal of expired or obsolete items.
Receive Supplies: Inspect incoming deliveries for quality, expiry dates, and accuracy. Complete Goods Received Notes (GRNs) for all items.
Organize Storage Areas: Maintain clean, well-labeled storerooms, implement FIFO/FEFO systems, manage stock by preference cards, and record daily storage temperatures.
Inventory Recording: Accurately update inventory systems and stock cards, and generate regular reports for relevant departments.
Conduct Stock Takes: Carry out daily, weekly, and monthly stock counts. Reconcile physical inventory with system records and address discrepancies.
Issuance Accuracy: Ensure stock issued matches approved requisitions and is billed correctly and promptly.
Support Departmental Tasks: Return discontinued stock, participate in meetings and trainings, and stay informed on internal communications and updates.
Ideal Candidate Profile
Strong organizational and record-keeping skills
Familiarity with inventory systems and stock management principles
Ability to interpret purchase data and forecast needs
Attention to detail and accuracy in handling stock
Knowledge of FIFO/FEFO methods and storage compliance
Experience in a healthcare or hospital setting is a plus
