Plant Operations & Monitoring

• Operate and monitor process systems using ICSS/DCS panels to maintain optimal control of temperature, pressure, flow, and level.

• Execute normal, start-up, shutdown, and emergency operating procedures in coordination with field operations.

• Maintain real-time surveillance of plant conditions and respond quickly to alarms and process deviations.

Commissioning & System Readiness

• Participate in pre-commissioning, commissioning, and start-up activities, including line-up checks, loop testing, and functional verifications.

• Perform pre-operational checks on mechanical, electrical, and instrumentation systems.

• Support loop testing, equipment operability checks, and system energization.

Troubleshooting & Optimization

• Identify and resolve control system faults and operational anomalies.

• Conduct root cause analysis and coordinate with relevant teams to implement corrective actions.

• Monitor plant performance and propose improvements to enhance efficiency and reliability.

Safety & Compliance

• Adhere strictly to HSE protocols, policies, and site safety procedures.

• Participate actively in toolbox talks, risk assessments, and emergency response drills.

• Report unsafe conditions, incidents, and near misses promptly.

Documentation & Communication

• Maintain accurate shift logs, operational records, and event reports.

• Ensure clear communication during shift handovers and with supervisory teams.

• Contribute to updates of standard operating procedures, ICSS mimics, and P&ID redlines.

Team Collaboration & Training

• Work closely with commissioning teams, vendors, and other shift operators to ensure aligned operations.

• Assist in mentoring and training junior operators as part of on-the-job development.
