Patrol and monitor the school premises — including buildings, grounds and entrances — on a regular basis to ensure safety and prevent unauthorized access. 

Control and monitor access at entry and exit points: screen visitors, verify identities, and ensure only authorized persons enter the school. 

Respond promptly to alarms, emergencies, disturbances or security incidents.

Provide security and supervision during school hours — including during breaks, assemblies, after‑school activities, or any school events — to ensure student and staff safety. 

Monitor and maintain security systems (e.g. check that doors, windows, gates are locked; inspect buildings and grounds for hazards or risks). 

Report or document any suspicious behaviour, security breaches or incidents; prepare reports for school administration.

Collaborate and coordinate with school administration, staff, and — if needed — local security or law‑enforcement authorities to handle serious security or safety issues.
