Job Description
The Service Technician will execute Ecolab’s service strategy by conducting surveys, process checks, and technical consultations for customers in the food and beverage sector. This entry-level role combines sales and technical services by assisting clients with chemical, technical, and application issues, executing field trials, and training users on hygiene plans. The Service Technician will also be tasked with equipment installation, repair, and maintenance, supporting new program rollouts, and ensuring compliance with company and customer safety standards. Regular customer visits, field support, and problem-solving will be central to ensuring customer satisfaction and building long-term partnerships.

How to Apply
Consult with customers on chemical, technical, and application issues.
Execute service surveys, process checks, field trials, and reporting.
Train customers on product usage and hygiene plan implementation.
Install, maintain, and repair equipment at customer plants.
Monitor and achieve customer machine maintenance goals.
Support introduction of new service concepts and programs.
Conduct regular customer visits and document hygiene parameters.
Provide recommendations related to safety protocols and standards.
Report service performance and identify areas of improvement.
Achieve monthly safety metrics and input safety data into company systems.
Minimum Requirements
High school diploma.
Prior experience in a technical service role.
Ability to lift, push, pull, and work in diverse physical conditions (confined spaces, freezing or hot environments).
Preferred Qualifications
Diploma/degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Chemistry, or related fields.
2+ years of technical experience in food and beverage plants.
Knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems.
Familiarity with MS Office (Excel and Word).
Willingness to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends.
Key Competencies

Good communication and customer service skills.
Ability to work independently in field-based environments.
Commitment to safety standards and continuous improvement.
