Job Description
Coordinate ICT infrastructure strategy in line with corporate plans; manage disaster recovery and business continuity; establish and enforce systems controls and access management; set hardware/software standards for networks, servers, databases, and services; plan, coordinate, monitor, and evaluate systems development and ICT projects; provision, install/configure, operate, and administer systems and related infrastructure; periodically review ICT projects/procedures and recommend improvements; and ensure business continuity via regular data and application backups.

How to Apply
Align departmental ICT infrastructure strategy with corporate strategy
Implement and maintain disaster recovery & business continuity strategies
Direct system controls & access management; monitor and evaluate system use for safety/security
Define/enforce standards for networks, servers, databases, and ICT services
Plan, coordinate, monitor, and evaluate systems/projects delivery
Provision, install/configure, operate, and administer systems hardware/software & infrastructure
Conduct periodic reviews of ICT projects and procedures; recommend improvements
Perform regular backups (data & applications) to ensure continuity
Minimum Requirements (Mandatory):
≥ 4 years relevant ICT work experience
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science / ICT / Business Information Technology (or related) from a recognised institution
Registration with a relevant professional body/society (where applicable)
Relevant ICT certification(s) from recognised certification bodies
Supervisory course (≥ 2 weeks) from a recognised institution
Demonstrated merit and ability in prior performance/results
Chapter 6 (Kenya Constitution) compliance (integrity requirements)
Excellent communication & reporting skills; strong interpersonal and analytical skills
Desired/Technical Competence:
ICT infrastructure administration (networks/servers/databases/services)
Systems security, access control, monitoring & evaluation
DR/BCP planning and execution
ICT project planning, coordination, and evaluation
Standards development and enforcement
