Job Description

Coordinate ICT infrastructure strategy in line with corporate plans; manage disaster recovery and business continuity; establish and enforce systems controls and access management; set hardware/software standards for networks, servers, databases, and services; plan, coordinate, monitor, and evaluate systems development and ICT projects; provision, install/configure, operate, and administer systems and related infrastructure; periodically review ICT projects/procedures and recommend improvements; and ensure business continuity via regular data and application backups.

Minimum Requirements (Mandatory):

  • ≥ 4 years relevant ICT work experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science / ICT / Business Information Technology (or related) from a recognised institution

  • Registration with a relevant professional body/society (where applicable)

  • Relevant ICT certification(s) from recognised certification bodies

  • Supervisory course (≥ 2 weeks) from a recognised institution

  • Demonstrated merit and ability in prior performance/results

  • Chapter 6 (Kenya Constitution) compliance (integrity requirements)

  • Excellent communication & reporting skills; strong interpersonal and analytical skills

Desired/Technical Competence:

  • ICT infrastructure administration (networks/servers/databases/services)

  • Systems security, access control, monitoring & evaluation

  • DR/BCP planning and execution

  • ICT project planning, coordination, and evaluation

  • Standards development and enforcement
