Job Description
Reporting to the designated supervisor, the role executes day-to-day registration tasks, verifies documentation for compliance, updates and maintains physical/electronic registers, and provides customer service at counters and via official channels. The officer ensures timely processing, quality recordkeeping, and adherence to set service standards and legal requirements, contributing to BRS’s mandate of reliable, accessible business registration services.
Remuneration & Terms (summary):
Salary Scale: Ksh. 60,750 – 104,700 p.m.
House Allowance: Ksh. 6,750 p.m.
Commuter Allowance: Ksh. 4,000 p.m.
Leave Allowance: One month basic salary (once yearly)
Annual Leave: 30 working days per financial year
Pension & Insurance: As per BRS schemes
Terms of Service: Permanent and pensionable

How to Apply
Receive, examine, and process applications for registration of Companies, Business Names, and LLPs.
Check completeness, accuracy, and compliance of submitted documents; flag deficiencies for correction.
Update registration databases/registers and file records (physical and electronic) for easy retrieval.
Issue certificates, acknowledgements, and correspondence in line with approved procedures.
Manage records lifecycle: indexing, archiving, retrieval, and safe custody.
Provide customer service at service counters, by email, and phone; guide applicants on requirements and fees.
Prepare daily activity logs, statistics, and periodic reports.
Support quality assurance, audit checks, and continuous process improvements.
Observe confidentiality, integrity, and data protection standards.
Perform any other related duties consistent with the role.
Kenyan citizen.
Diploma from an accredited institution (preferably in Legal Studies).
KCSE mean grade C- (Minus) or equivalent.
Certificate in computer applications.
Membership in a related professional body in good standing (CPS(K) is an added advantage).
Demonstrated professional competence and strong work performance/results.
Meets Chapter Six requirements of the Constitution of Kenya.
