Job Description
Develop and roll out QA policies, standards, guidelines, and processes; coordinate audits of academic programmes and regular/impromptu institutional inspections; monitor compliance in chartered universities and follow up on implementation of audit recommendations; design and deliver training for university QA Directors and quality auditors; process applications for collaborations between foreign universities and local institutions; provide secretarial support to the Quality Assurance Committee; and manage quarterly/annual work plans, departmental budgets, and procurement plans.

How to Apply
Develop & implement QA policies/standards/guidelines/processes
Coordinate auditing of university academic programmes
Lead regular and impromptu institutional audits/inspections
Monitor compliance with standards in chartered universities
Track implementation of audit recommendations
Train university QA Directors on internal QA mechanisms
Spearhead training of quality auditors and stakeholder workshops
Process applications for foreign–local university collaborations
Provide secretariat services to the Quality Assurance Committee
Prepare and execute quarterly/annual work plans, budgets, and procurement plans
Mandatory:
10+ years relevant experience, with 5+ years in a management role
Bachelor’s degree in Education, Business Administration, Law, Social Sciences, or related
Master’s degree in the above or related fields
Management course of ≥4 weeks (recognized institution)
Membership in relevant professional body/bodies (good standing)
Computer proficiency
Compliance with Chapter Six of the Constitution of Kenya
Strong communication & reporting, teamwork, and time management skills
