The Secretary is responsible for providing administrative support to the school, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations, and helping to maintain effective communication between the school, parents, staff, and other stakeholders. The role involves handling administrative tasks such as managing correspondence, filing, and scheduling meetings, as well as assisting with record-keeping and supporting teachers and school management.

How to Apply
Administrative Support:
Handle general administrative duties, including answering phones, responding to emails, and managing correspondence.
Maintain school records, files, and databases in an organized manner.
Prepare, type, and format letters, reports, and other documents.
Ensure efficient scheduling of appointments, meetings, and events for the head teacher and staff.
Communication:
Serve as the primary point of contact between parents, staff, and the wider community.
Assist with preparing and distributing school newsletters, notices, and other communications.
Manage parent-teacher communication and assist in coordinating meetings between parents and teachers.
Assist in organizing school events and ensuring that all participants are informed.
Record Keeping and Documentation:
Maintain accurate records of student enrollment, attendance, and academic performance.
Assist in compiling and updating school reports and other official documents.
Handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion and in accordance with school policies.
Office Management:
Manage office supplies, ensuring the availability of necessary materials for the school.
Oversee the filing and organization of physical and digital documents.
Ensure the office environment is clean, organized, and welcoming for visitors, parents, and students.
Financial Support:
Assist with basic financial tasks, such as maintaining records of school fees and payments.
Prepare financial documents for the head teacher or accountant when required.
Support for School Management:
Assist the school management team in organizing and coordinating school activities and events.
Help in the preparation of reports for meetings, including taking minutes and distributing them to stakeholders.
Other Duties:
Support teachers with administrative tasks such as preparing materials for lessons.
Assist in managing student records, including registration forms, medical forms, and emergency contact details.
Diploma in Secretarial Studies, Business Administration, or related field.
Experience in a secretarial or similar administrative role.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and office management tools.
Strong communication, organizational, and multitasking skills.
Attention to detail, problem-solving abilities, and confidentiality handling.
