How to Apply

  • Support the planning, budgeting, and financial oversight of school operations.

  • Enforce adherence to the institution’s financial policies and procedures.

  • Prepare annual budgets for the schools and provide guidance on budget control and compliance.

  • Manage the collection, receipting, and banking of all school income.

  • Verify all payment requests, ensuring proper authorization and documentation before processing.

  • Maintain accurate financial records including ledgers, petty cash, bank transactions, and cash flow tracking.

  • Organize and archive payment vouchers with complete accountability documentation.

  • Ensure prompt processing and dispatch of payments to vendors and service providers.

  • Prepare and submit timely financial reports (monthly, quarterly, and annually) to the Principal Tutors, Deputy Accountant, and Finance Manager.

  • Compile reports on outstanding school fees and dues, submitting them to Principal Tutors for follow-up.

  • Perform monthly reconciliations for bank statements, general ledger, accounts receivable, and accounts payable.

  • Prepare donor financial reports in line with specific reporting requirements and deadlines.

  • Collaborate with the Schools Administrator to manage payments for supplier contracts, tracking contract execution and performance.

  • Assist in preparing for external audits, working closely with the Finance Manager and Deputy Accountant.

  • Maintain the fixed assets register and coordinate the insurance of school properties.

  • Participate in school staff meetings and contribute to ongoing administrative planning.

  • Carry out any additional tasks assigned by the Deputy Accountant or Finance Manager.

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Commerce (BCOM), Business Administration (BBA), or a related field in finance or accounting.

  • Experience: Minimum of 1–3 years in a similar financial or bursar role.


Skills & Competencies:

  • Strong proficiency in accounting software and MS Office tools.

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

  • Strong organizational, analytical, and financial reporting skills.

  • Ability to manage multiple responsibilities and work effectively in a team.

  • High level of integrity and attention to detail.
