Duties, Roles and Responsibilities
Sales Management
- Carry out daily and weekly tracking of sales by the teams
- Identify issues and implement corrective measures on a timely basis
- Carry out reporting of sales on a daily basis
Sales Force Management
- Prepare targets for the sales reps on an individual basis
- Follow up performance of reps and carry out corrective measures to support them hit their targets on a daily basis
- Do field visits and accompaniments with the reps on a weekly basis to coach and guide them, and support them in their selling
- Do the monthly evaluation of the performance of the reps based on the set KPIs, identify areas for improvement, communicate and follow up with the reps
Order booking with Key Customers
- Plan sales with the Key WS Customers and follow up their orders and deliveries directly
- Plan and implement incentive schemes for these customers to enable them perform
Trade Activations Management
- Plan and propose tactical promos in the areas needing them, implement and follow up
- Brief teams on marketing activities and trade promos; Follow up the proper implementation of these on the field
- Carry out activities evaluations and promo reconciliations at the end of the activity
Route To market excellency
- Ensure that the team has accurate data in the systeams regarding customer informations.
- Putting right customers on the route with the right frequency of visists
RELATIONSHIPS WITHIN THE ORGANISATION
- With the General Manager, and National Sales Manager.
- Work in close collaboration with the National Sales Managers, ensuring daily contact and follow up
- Report on a timely basis all work elements to the National Sales Managers that need their attention
- Execute tasks as directed by the GM and NSM
With the Sales Force
- Coach and manage the sales reps
- Carry out field accompaniments with the reps to improve their selling skills and support them on sales
- Track the performance of the reps on a daily basis, carry out evaluations and feedback
- Overall, responsibility for the performance of the reps, so a very close collaboration is required
With the Depot Managers
- Collaborate with the depot managers in stock management, sales and stock reconciliations, as well as cash reconciliations
- Follow up with depot managers to ensure the required stock is made available at the depots to carry out sales
With the Finance and Logistics teams
- Work in close collaboration with these teams to ensure timely finance reconciliations, stock management and depot replenishments.
- Also stock reconciliations at the end of promos
