Job Description
The Sales Executive will be responsible for achieving sales targets, identifying new business opportunities, managing customer relationships, conducting market research, and providing post-sales support. The ideal candidate must be proactive, target-oriented, and able to work under pressure while maintaining exceptional communication and negotiation skills. Collaboration with internal teams to ensure smooth operations and order processing is essential.
Duties, Roles and Responsibilities
Achieve and exceed monthly/quarterly sales targets and KPIs
Build and maintain long-term relationships with clients in the construction industry
Maintain comprehensive knowledge of the company’s product range
Identify and report on market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback
Deliver persuasive sales presentations and negotiate favorable deals
Track sales performance, generate forecasts, and report regularly to management
Provide post-sales support and customer service
Collaborate with marketing, logistics, and operations departments
Qualifications, Education and Competencies
Diploma or Degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, or a related field
Minimum of 3 years of proven sales experience in construction materials or a related sector
Strong understanding of the construction market in Rwanda
Proven ability to meet and exceed sales targets
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong negotiation and interpersonal skills
Self-motivated, proactive, and capable of working with minimal supervision
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, CRM tools, and sales management software
Ability to handle pressure and adapt to a dynamic work environment
Team player with strong collaborative spirit
