Job Description
Job Title: Sales Engineer (Equipment Division)
Organisation: EBC
Duty Station: Kampala, Uganda
Salary: UGX 32,400,000/=
Job Summary:
The Sales Engineer is responsible for promoting and selling compressors to customers in various industries, promote the company’s equipment products by identifying customer needs, preparing technical proposals, serving as a technical expert and build long-term client relationships within the equipment market.
Duties, Roles and Responsibilities
Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the compressor market
Develop and maintain relationships with existing and potential customers
Provide technical support and product information to customers
Negotiate sales contracts and agreements
Meet and exceed sales targets and revenue goals
Collaborate with internal teams, such as engineering and customer service
Qualifications, Education and Competencies
A Degree from a recognized university in Mechanical, Electrical, automotive engineering or related field.
1-2 years of sales experience in a related industry (compressors or industrial equipment)
Specific Skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Strong understanding of the equipment market and industry trends
Proven track record of achieving sales targets and revenue goals
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Strong negotiation and closing skills
Ability to prioritize tasks and meet to
Flexible and adaptable to changes in work requirements or
Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel as
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM software
Salary
Gross pay: 2,700,000 to 3,500,000Ugx
