Job Description
The Road Surveyor / Land Surveyor will be a key player in collecting and analyzing survey data for civil engineering projects, specifically road design, maintenance, and construction. This role includes performing topographic surveys, evaluating road conditions, and using GPS, drones, and total stations to gather critical data. The role also demands strong coordination with engineers, contractors, clients, and stakeholders, ensuring quality control and safety throughout the project cycle. The Surveyor will provide expert input on design planning and ensure compliance with safety policies and industry standards.

How to Apply
Conduct topographic and road condition surveys for assigned projects
Analyze collected data and prepare reports with recommendations for design and maintenance
Inspect roads for defects and suggest areas for improvement
Collaborate with engineers, contractors, and project stakeholders to meet technical requirements
Ensure data accuracy and compliance with engineering and industry standards
Operate and maintain surveying equipment, including GPS, drones, and total stations
Contribute to road design and planning by providing technical insights
Engage with local authorities, landowners, and contractors as needed
Propose and implement process improvements in the survey and planning workflows
Execute additional tasks as assigned by the Head of Department (HOD)
Follow strict adherence to company Health & Safety Policy; violations may lead to disciplinary action
Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Technical Civil Engineering
12 to 15 years of relevant experience in road surveying or a related field
Strong knowledge of surveying methods, tools, and software
Proficiency in the use of total stations, GPS devices, drones, and other surveying technology
Excellent analytical, reporting, and communication skills
Ability to work collaboratively within cross-functional teams
Commitment to safety, quality control, and stakeholder engagement
