Job Description
Reporting to the Senior Resource Geologist, the Resource Geologist will collect, integrate, and analyze geological data to support resource modeling and estimation. The role includes ensuring compliance with international codes such as CRIRSCO, JORC, SAMREC, and CIM, and developing geological models using advanced software tools. The position involves working closely with exploration, mine planning, and environmental teams to ensure alignment of geological assessments with mining operations. The ideal candidate will possess a strong geoscientific background, proficiency in modeling software, and the ability to communicate technical findings effectively.

How to Apply
Collect, integrate, and analyze geological data from exploration and production activities.
Incorporate geophysical and geochemical data into resource models for accuracy.
Conduct mineral resource and reserve estimation using geological modeling and geostatistics.
Ensure compliance with CRIRSCO, JORC, SAMREC, CIM, and company standards in reporting.
Collaborate with exploration teams to design and validate resource targeting strategies.
Support cross-functional teams including mine planning, metallurgy, and environmental units.
Use geological modeling software (e.g., Datamine, Leapfrog, Surpac) for model development.
Prepare technical reports for audits and investor relations.
Adapt to new resource estimation technologies and evolving geological data.
Perform other related tasks as assigned from time to time.
A Bachelor’s Degree (Hons) in Geology, Geo Science, Mineral Exploration, Geosciences, or a related field.
Minimum of four (4) years' experience in a similar role, with at least two (2) years in resource estimation and modeling.
Proficiency in geological modeling software (e.g., Datamine, Leapfrog, Surpac).
Strong understanding of geo-statistics and mineral resource classification systems.
Industry-standard certification(s) is an added advantage.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to interpret complex geological data.
Ability to communicate technical information clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
Ability to work in diverse geological environments with evolving datasets.
Age range: 30–45 years.
