The Sales Representative will play a key role in supporting AfriCareers’ growth strategy by driving revenue through client acquisition, maintaining employer relationships, selling premium services, and supporting the implementation of the company’s strategic business plan. This role requires a dynamic, results-oriented professional with strong networking, negotiation, and client management skills.

  • Provide after-sales support to ensure client satisfaction and retention.

  • Regularly engage with clients to understand their recruitment and talent needs.


  1. Jobseeker Support

  • Assist jobseekers in identifying and applying for job openings that match their professional profiles.

  • Implement a continuous feedback mechanism with both jobseekers and employers to refine the matching process and ensure satisfaction on both ends.

  • Establish a mentorship program where experienced professionals from various industries provide guidance and insights to jobseekers.

  • Monitor employment trends and market demands to advise jobseekers on emerging opportunities and necessary skill upgrades.

  1. Market Intelligence & Reporting

    • Track and analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to inform sales strategies.

    • Provide insights into client needs and suggest improvements to products and services.

    • Prepare and submit weekly and monthly sales performance reports


  1. Brand Visibility & Partnerships

  • Assist in organizing brand visibility activities, including career fairs, campus outreach, and media partnerships, by securing sponsorships and exhibitors.

  • Support influencer and partnership onboarding to expand AfriCareers’ reach.

  • Facilitate networking events that connect jobseekers with potential employers and industry experts.

Minimum Qualifications

  • A Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Business, Marketing, Sales, Human Resources, or a related field.


Experience

  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in sales, business development, client acquisition, or related roles (experience in recruitment, HR services, or digital platforms is an added advantage).


Skills and Competencies

  • Proven ability to meet and exceed sales targets.

  • Strong presentation, negotiation, and communication skills.

  • Ability to build long-term client relationships.

  • Knowledge of digital recruitment platforms, HR services, or online marketplaces.

  • Self-driven, innovative, and results-oriented.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM tools; knowledge of Wix CMS is an added advantage.
