Job Description
The Registered Nurse III will support patient care through assessment, diagnosis, and treatment planning. Duties include managing childhood illnesses (IMCI), immunization, PMTCT services, antenatal care, deliveries, and counseling. Nurses will also handle patient admissions, initiate discharge plans, maintain accurate health records, ensure a safe and clean clinical environment, and participate in health education initiatives. The role is offered on a contract basis.

How to Apply
Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing interventions.
Provide care services including IMCI, immunization, PMTCT, antenatal care, and deliveries.
Offer health education and counseling to patients and families.
Facilitate admissions and initiate discharge planning.
Maintain accurate patient and health education records.
Ensure a safe, clean, and organized clinical environment.
Collect and compile health and clinical data.
Perform other duties as delegated.
Diploma in Nursing from a recognized institution in any of the following:
Kenya Registered Community Health Nursing
Kenya Registered Nursing
Kenya Registered Midwifery
Kenya Registered Nursing/Midwifery
Kenya Registered Nursing (Mental Health and Psychiatry)
Registration certificate from the Nursing Council of Kenya.
Valid practicing license from the Nursing Council of Kenya.
Proficiency in computer applications.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Commitment to values and principles under Articles 10 and 232 of the Constitution of Kenya, 2010.
Must meet requirements of Chapter 6 of the Constitution (integrity, ethics, accountability).
