Job Description
The Regional Sales Lead will develop and execute route-to-market strategies to scale Booch in Modern Trade and priority retail channels. The role manages end-to-end account development—from listings, trade terms, planograms, and promotions to on-shelf availability and stock rotation—while analyzing sell-in vs. sell-out to optimize performance. The Lead will negotiate with buyers/category managers, expand penetration per outlet, open new key accounts, and coordinate with marketing, production, and logistics to ensure flawless execution. The position also involves sales forecasting, reporting (ERP/CRM), trade marketing activation, and leading/coaching sales reps and merchandisers to consistently hit targets.

How to Apply
Own and grow Modern Trade/key accounts (e.g., Carrefour, Naivas, Quickmart, Chandarana).
Drive listings, trade terms, joint business plans, and category visibility.
Implement planograms; ensure shelf space, price integrity, stock rotation, and OSA targets.
Plan and execute promotions, in-store activations, and trade marketing programs.
Analyze sell-in vs. sell-out, market/competitor data; recommend actions to hit volume/revenue goals.
Prepare accurate forecasts, pipelines, and weekly/monthly sales reports via ERP/CRM.
Expand coverage: open new accounts/regions and improve SKU penetration per outlet.
Lead, coach, and performance-manage sales reps/merchandisers; conduct market rides.
Coordinate with logistics for order cycles, deliveries, and returns; troubleshoot service issues.
Build a robust distributor/retail network and maintain senior stakeholder relationships.
Ensure compliance with commercial policies and manage trade spend ROI.
Education: Degree or Diploma in Sales & Marketing, Business Administration, or related field; professional sales/marketing certification is an added advantage.
Experience: Minimum 5 years progressive sales experience with at least 3 years in Modern Trade (Key Accounts); proven results in FMCG/beverage.
Technical Skills:
Strong negotiation and relationship management with buyers/category managers.
Route-to-market design, listings, trade terms, visibility planning.
Modern Trade operations: planograms, shelf management, stock rotations, promotions.
Data analysis of sell-in/sell-out; proficient in MS Office (Excel) and ERP/CRM reporting.
Trade marketing and category development competence.
Leadership & Personal Attributes:
Team leadership, coaching and mentoring skills.
Self-driven, results-oriented, strong communicator; able to work under pressure and cross-functionally.
Other Requirements:
Valid driving licence; willingness to travel regionally.
Solid retail/distribution network and ability to open new Modern Trade accounts.
