Job Description
The Regional Infrastructure Engineer is a pivotal technical role reporting to the Regional CTO, responsible for infrastructure, projects, health, safety, and expansion of engineering infrastructure in Uganda and oversight of infrastructure engineers in the region. Recruited by Q-Sourcing on behalf of a telecom industry client.
Duties, Roles and Responsibilities
- Manage infrastructure, projects, health, safety, and expansion of engineering infrastructure
- Oversee infrastructure engineers in the region
- Ensure high-availability environment operations
- Coordinate with Regional CTO on infrastructure planning and execution
- Implement safety standards and PPE protocols
- Monitor and interface with NOC equipment and monitoring tools
- Manage multi-country reporting and weekly scheduling
