Job Description
The Regional Business and Operations Manager is responsible for driving business growth and overseeing efficient day-to-day operations across assigned branches within the region. The role combines business development, customer relationship management, operational leadership, risk management, and compliance to ensure the achievement of the institution’s strategic, operational, and financial objectives. The position requires a hands-on leader capable of balancing growth targets with strong internal controls and high customer service standards.
Duties, Roles and Responsibilities
Business Growth and Development
- Develop and implement regional business strategies aligned with organizational goals.
- Drive portfolio growth, deposits mobilization, and profitability across branches.
- Identify new market opportunities, partnerships, and products to enhance outreach and competitiveness.
- Monitor business performance against targets and implement corrective actions where necessary.
Operations Management
- Oversee daily branch operations to ensure efficiency, consistency, and adherence to policies and procedures.
- Ensure effective utilization of resources, systems, and processes to support business operations.
- Monitor operational performance and implement improvements to enhance productivity and service delivery.
Customer Service and Relationship Management
- Promote a strong customer-centric culture across the region.
- Ensure high standards of customer service and timely resolution of client issues and complaints.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, community leaders, and stakeholders.
Risk Management and Compliance
- Ensure compliance with internal policies, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices.
- Monitor credit quality, portfolio performance, and operational risks, and implement mitigation measures.
- Support internal and external audits and ensure timely implementation of audit recommendations.
Leadership and People Management
- Provide leadership, coaching, and performance management for branch and regional teams.
- Build staff capacity through training, mentorship, and performance feedback.
- Foster a high-performance culture aligned with organizational values and ethical standards.
