Job Description
The Receptionist at WeBuyCars Silver Lakes will serve as the first point of contact for clients and dealers, ensuring a professional and welcoming environment. Key responsibilities include handling basic invoicing, maintaining office systems, assisting vehicle sales and buying personnel with administrative documentation, and liaising with head office. The role also requires organizing office equipment and supplies, compiling monthly reports, and ensuring smooth day-to-day branch operations. The Receptionist must possess strong customer service, organizational, and communication skills, as well as knowledge of the automotive industry and its terminology. Flexibility to work weekends and public holidays, along with the ability to manage workload effectively, is essential.
Duties, Roles and Responsibilities
Handle basic invoicing and administrative duties.
Welcome and assist walk-in clients and dealers.
Maintain office systems and manage office equipment/supplies.
Assist Vehicle Sales Personnel with admin documentation.
Assist Vehicle Buying Personnel with admin documentation.
Act as a liaison between the branch and head office.
Compile and submit monthly reports.
Support branch operations by ensuring proper organization and documentation.
Provide excellent customer service to clients and partners.
Qualifications, Education and Competencies
Education: Diploma or Degree (minimum requirement).
Experience: At least 1 year in a similar receptionist or administrative role.
Skills and Competencies:
Fully bilingual (verbal and written).
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Excellent customer service and listening skills.
Strong telephone etiquette.
Ability to work under authority and manage heavy workloads.
Positive attitude, strong personality, and ability to delegate/manage people effectively.
Knowledge of the vehicle industry and relevant terminology.
Other Requirements:
Must reside in Silver Lakes or surrounding areas.
Own transport and valid driver’s license required.
Willingness to work every second weekend and some public holidays.
No criminal record.
