How to Apply
Cost Estimation; Preparing accurate cost estimates for construction materials, labor, equipment, and other project expenses.
Budget Monitoring: monitor project expenses against the allocated budget and provide regular updates to project managers.
Contract Negotiations; preparing bills of quantities, analyzing bids, and supporting contract negotiations with suppliers and subcontractors.
Valuation for Payment for completed works, prepare interim payment certificates and processing payments to contractors and suppliers.
Quantity Measurement; accurately measure and quantify construction materials and works completed on-site.
Financial Reporting: Prepare financial reports and forecasts, including cost-to-complete projections and expenditure analysis.
Risk Assessment: Identify and assess potential financial contractual risks and propose mitigation strategies.
Project Documentation: Maintain organized and up-to-date records of contracts, invoices, payment certificates, and other relevant documents.
Coordination: Work closely with project managers, engineers, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure effective cost management.
Provide financial reports to the project management team and recommend cost-saving measures.
Prepare and negotiate variations and change orders with clients and contractors
Bachelor’s degree or higher in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
Additional qualifications in project management or construction finance will be a plus.
At least 5 years of experience in quantity surveying for civil and mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) works.
Strong knowledge of cost estimation, contract negotiation, and value engineering.
Experience working on large-scale construction projects, particular water related projects
