To supervise the timely sampling and accurate analysis of incoming raw materials at reception to ensure that each lot received conforms to the company specifications.

To supervise the timely sampling and analysis of in process quality control samples ensuring that all the samples are taken as per schedule and the process team is immediately informed of the results.

To monitor and maintain effectiveness of Critical Control Points (CCPs) and record the performance ensuring that all material in process complete approved QC/QA procedures.

To ensure processing lines are in excellent hygienic conditions and verifying that lines are sufficiently cleaned before commencement of the process and ensure all necessary line clearance records are updated on time.

To ensure product processing, handling, flow and segregation based on Organic principles and the in-storage goods are kept as per Food Safety and Quality standards.

To supervise the packing of the finished goods ensuring that all the bags are verified through vibro- screen separator and the metal detector or as established in the FSQMS procedures.

To ensure that current GMP and GHPs are strictly followed in order to meet the quality and safety standards of the products.

Liaise with logistics and certification teams to ensure timely availability of cargo containers and Organic transaction certificates, Phytosanitary certificates, respectively.

To ensure cargo trucks are inspected and verified for cleanliness and suitability to safely transport organic food as per established Safety and Quality control standards.

To ensure container loading quality documentation is accurately done and filed for reference.

To supervise and ensure FG loading by ensuring container dressing, product stuffing and container sealing is appropriately done as per established standards and specifications.

To Supervise Rodent and pest control in order to ensure that there is zero infestation in the process and storage areas.

To supervise the proper sampling of material for client pre-shipment verification, Internal and external Laboratory analysis.

To work hand in hand with third party Inspectors in product sampling, certification, loading and dispatch in accordance with customer and regulatory requirements.

Carry out proper documentation and record keeping by ensuring that all the necessary records are completed and filed as required, both soft and hard copies.

Ensure that all measurement equipment and instruments in IPQC stations are well maintained and calibrated so as to give accurate results at all times.

Train workers on quality and Food safety related matters while promoting quality policies and objective to keep them updated, knowledgeable, increase awareness, motivation, and involvement.

Making regular reports to the Quality assurance manager about any nonconformities observed in the operations in order to ensure the safety and quality of the product.

Assist the Assistant manager QC/QA in assessing manpower needs, allocation, and continual improvement process.

To participate in internal and external food safety and quality audits.

Any other official duty as may be assigned by superiors from time to time
