Inspecting and testing the materials, equipment and methods used for coating and insulation
Recording and reporting the results of inspections and tests
Identifying and resolving any issues or defects in the coating and insulation processes
Recommending and implementing improvements to the coating and insulation processes
Communicating and coordinating with other technicians, engineers, supervisors and clients
Following the safety rules and regulations of the workplace

HNC or equivalent in an Engineering discipline or equivalent
Minimum 10 years’ relevant experience preferably gained in the Oil and Gas, Petrochemical, Refining industry with a recognised level of expertise, knowledge of Painting/PFP/Thermal insulation application, structural an piping painting applications, Knowledge PFP and Thermal Insulation application on piping structural and mechanical items, Certified by an approved organisation such as ACQPA, FROSIO Level 3 or NACE CIP Level 3.
Experience of application of Quality Assurance Systems & auditing, familiar with relevant national and international codes & standards.
Previous experience working on capital projects for operator clients.
