Aid for Socio-Economic and Rural Development is a Ghanaian non-governmental organization established in 2015 and formally registered in 2018, working primarily in the Northern and Savannah Regions of Ghana. The organization is committed to improving the livelihoods of rural and vulnerable populations, particularly women and youth, through integrated, community-driven development approaches. Its work is grounded in a strong understanding of local socio-economic and environmental challenges, enabling it to design context-specific interventions that address poverty, inequality, and environmental degradation. ASERD implements multi-sectoral programmes spanning biodiversity conservation, climate resilience, sustainable agriculture, and livelihood development. Through donor-funded initiatives, the organization promotes community-based natural resource management, ecosystem restoration, and nature-based enterprises such as beekeeping and agroforestry. By linking environmental sustainability with income generation, ASERD aims to build resilient communities while contributing to broader national and global goals on climate action and biodiversity conservation
