Job Description
The Project Associate will play a key role in supporting project implementation by coordinating with the Project Lead, MSH’s home office, and country-level teams. Responsibilities include assisting with grant administration, maintaining project files, organizing meetings and events, managing international and local travel arrangements, and supporting procurement and financial processes. The role requires strong organizational and multitasking skills, as the associate will serve as a key point of contact for staff and consultants, ensuring compliance with MSH policies and donor requirements. The Project Associate will also support monitoring and reporting processes, safeguard MSH’s reputation by upholding integrity, and contribute to other MSH projects and business development initiatives.

How to Apply
Provide grant administration support, including communication with recipient countries and adherence to reporting deadlines.
Support program implementation through secretarial and administrative tasks such as scheduling meetings, filing, scanning, and documentation.
Organize international travel, local transport, and in-person project events.
Assist with procurement of goods and services in compliance with MSH policies.
Provide financial support, including preparation of financial documents and maintaining efficient office operations.
Act as a point of contact for project staff and consultants requiring administrative support.
Ensure compliance with procurement integrity, financial, contractual, and political standards.
Contribute to business development activities and support other MSH projects when required.
Uphold confidentiality and integrity in all project dealings.
Bachelor’s degree in Public Health, Administration, or a related field (preferred).
Minimum of 3 years’ relevant experience in grant management, finance, administration, or program management.
Strong verbal and written communication skills in English (French is an added advantage).
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Internet research).
Experience working with international donor-funded projects preferred.
Demonstrated ability to work independently and manage priorities effectively.
Excellent organizational, time-management, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to engage tactfully with stakeholders, including government ministries.
Strong discretion and judgment when handling confidential matters.
Ability to travel up to 20%.
