Job Description
Under the supervision of the Chief of Mission and direct guidance of the Head of Programmes, the Project Assistant will assist in coordinating and monitoring project activities. Responsibilities include data compilation, budgeting support, drafting reports and correspondence, organizing meetings, responding to inquiries, and maintaining proper documentation. The role requires working closely with governmental and non-governmental stakeholders and supporting vulnerable groups, including migrants and displaced individuals.

How to Apply
Assist with the implementation and tracking of project activities
Compile and summarize information and data on project-related topics
Monitor budgets, verify fund availability, and support administrative processes
Draft reports, correspondence, briefings, and statistical tables
Organize and facilitate meetings, workshops, and training events
Maintain records and respond to general inquiries
Liaise with internal departments and external stakeholders
Support documentation and preparation of status reports
Carry out other assigned tasks related to project implementation
Education
Bachelor’s Degree in Political/Social Sciences, International Relations, Development Studies, Migration Studies, Human Rights, Law, or related field with two years’ experience;OR
School diploma with four years of relevant experience.
Experience
Experience in liaising with government, UN agencies, and NGOs
Experience working with migrants, IDPs, refugees, or other vulnerable groups
Prior work in international humanitarian settings is an asset
Skills
Strong coordination and liaison skills
Intermediate MS Office proficiency
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Good writing and report development abilities
Languages
Fluency in English and Kinyarwanda (written and oral)
Proficiency in French is an asset
