Job Description
Reporting to the Executive Director, the Programs and Development Director will provide leadership in resource mobilization, donor management, business development, government relations, marketing, and hospital communications. The role includes developing annual fundraising plans, cultivating donor relationships, managing donor-funded programs, supporting business development, and strengthening the hospital’s brand presence. The position requires close collaboration with senior leaders to ensure sustainability of hospital operations through effective fundraising strategies, program management, and external stakeholder engagement.

How to Apply
Develop and implement an annual resource development and fundraising strategy.
Manage donor relations, proposal writing, reporting, and compliance.
Build and maintain relationships with individual, corporate, and institutional donors.
Oversee patient recruitment strategies and hospital mobilization programs.
Strengthen the hospital’s branding and marketing efforts across digital and traditional platforms.
Lead community awareness campaigns, publicity events, and success story documentation.
Develop partnerships with government agencies and foundations.
Ensure proper donor database management and reporting.
Represent the hospital at key government and community meetings.
Monitor donor-funded program implementation and reporting.
Provide strategic oversight to ensure the hospital meets patient and community needs.

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Development Studies, Public Health, or related field (Master’s preferred).
Proven experience in fundraising, donor engagement, and program management.
Minimum 7 years’ experience in senior leadership roles within healthcare, NGO, or nonprofit sectors.
Strong networking, negotiation, and government relations skills.
Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
Demonstrated ability to develop marketing strategies and brand positioning.
Strong organizational and leadership skills with ability to manage diverse teams.
Commitment to the values of compassion, integrity, prayerfulness, and excellence.
