Job Description

Reporting to the Executive Director, the Programs and Development Director will provide leadership in resource mobilization, donor management, business development, government relations, marketing, and hospital communications. The role includes developing annual fundraising plans, cultivating donor relationships, managing donor-funded programs, supporting business development, and strengthening the hospital’s brand presence. The position requires close collaboration with senior leaders to ensure sustainability of hospital operations through effective fundraising strategies, program management, and external stakeholder engagement.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Development Studies, Public Health, or related field (Master’s preferred).

  • Proven experience in fundraising, donor engagement, and program management.

  • Minimum 7 years’ experience in senior leadership roles within healthcare, NGO, or nonprofit sectors.

  • Strong networking, negotiation, and government relations skills.

  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.

  • Demonstrated ability to develop marketing strategies and brand positioning.

  • Strong organizational and leadership skills with ability to manage diverse teams.

  • Commitment to the values of compassion, integrity, prayerfulness, and excellence.
