Job Summary:
Pebuu is seeking an experienced and skilled Professional Driver with defensive driving expertise. Preference will be given to candidates residing in or near Namugongo, Kira, Naalya, Bukerere, or surrounding areas. The ideal candidate should have extensive nationwide driving experience and a strong knowledge of Uganda’s road network.

How to Apply
Safely transport employees, clients, and goods to various destinations across Uganda.
Plan and follow efficient routes to ensure punctual arrivals.
Maintain cleanliness and perform regular inspections of company vehicles.
Comply fully with traffic laws and company safety policies.
Promptly report any vehicle issues, accidents, or incidents.
Assist with loading and unloading goods when required.
Stay informed on traffic updates, safety/security alerts, event schedules, and weather conditions.
Conduct daily vehicle inspections, ensure valid insurance, and report any faults immediately.
Manage monthly fuel reconciliations and fleet compliance reporting.
Provide courteous and helpful service to passengers, including offering comfort breaks.
Deliver and collect documents and parcels as requested.
Collaborate with colleagues to foster a positive team environment.
Be prepared to travel anywhere within Pebuu’s operational areas and work outside regular hours as needed.
Perform additional duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Requirements:
“A” Level certificate.
Valid driving permit with classes B, B+, C & D1, with a clean driving record (no penalties).
Defensive Driving certificate from a recognized training institute.
At least 6 years’ experience as a passenger driver, including 3 years with nationwide coverage.
Ability to drive manual transmission vehicles.
Basic vehicle maintenance skills.
Certificate in First Aid is an advantage.
Strong knowledge of Uganda’s traffic regulations and road safety.
