Production Engineering Technician – TV Assembly job at Sun King

Job Description
The Production Engineering Technician will play a key role in setting up and maintaining the TV assembly line. Responsibilities include ensuring optimal production layout, training operators on processes, updating SOPs and work instructions, and supporting the validation of new production lines. The technician will also troubleshoot and repair defective TVs during production, ensure operators correctly use machines and tools, and recommend process improvements. The role requires hands-on technical expertise, clear communication, and commitment to maintaining efficiency and quality standards.
Duties, Roles and Responsibilities
Ensure production layout and assembly processes are set properly.
Provide process training and technical know-how to operators.
Troubleshoot and repair defective TVs from production.
Monitor and ensure operators use machines, tools, and fixtures correctly.
Update work instructions, SOPs, or drawings as required.
Participate in setup and validation of new production lines.
Support continuous improvement in production efficiency and quality.
Qualifications, Education and Competencies
Minimum Qualifications & Experience
Diploma in Electrical and Electronics Engineering or related field.
Minimum of 2 years’ experience as a technician in electronics production.
Skills & Competencies
Strong technical troubleshooting and repair skills.
Ability to clearly communicate technical issues (verbally and in writing).
High integrity, professionalism, and strong work ethic.
Excellent teamwork and time management skills.
Ability to train and support operators effectively.
