Production Operations

• The role includes monitoring, maintaining, and optimizing production equipment and systems to ensure peak performance and minimal downtime.

• Responsibilities cover supporting the installation and commissioning of new machinery, balancing related processes, and performing mechanical, electrical, and process troubleshooting.

• The engineer will establish preventive and predictive maintenance programs, oversee spare parts inventories, and ensure that all equipment is operated safely.

• Additional tasks involve data collection, root-cause analysis, corrective action implementation, and fostering a strong culture of safety and environmental compliance on the factory floor.

Process Improvement

• The engineer will analyze existing production processes to identify inefficiencies and areas for improvement related to quality, cost, yield, and throughput.

• Responsibilities include documenting and standardizing operational procedures, supporting staff training, participating in capacity expansion initiatives, and ensuring all engineering and maintenance activities meet safety and regulatory standards.

Research and Development

• The role involves close collaboration with the Innovation team to prototype, test, and scale new ceramic products.

• Tasks include contributing to product and equipment design, selecting and integrating new machinery or test rigs, creating CAD designs, and fabricating prototypes.

• The engineer will also develop and refine production processes for new products, overseeing pilot runs and facilitating scale-up to full production.
