Job Description

Reporting to the Procurement Manager, the Procurement Officer will be responsible for cost reduction initiatives, conducting regular market research, and preparing Local Purchase Orders (LPOs). The role involves managing procurement documentation, maintaining communication with internal departments, updating supplier quotations, and keeping a reliable supplier database. The Procurement Officer will also be responsible for record-keeping, tracking orders, and providing timely updates to users on monthly or routine orders.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Procurement and Logistics or related field.

  • Minimum of 3 years’ relevant experience in procurement.

  • Must be a registered member of the Kenya Institute of Supplies Management (KISM).

  • Strong knowledge of procurement procedures and documentation.

  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and organizational skills.

  • Ability to work with procurement software and MS Office tools.
