Job Description
Grace Bell Schools is seeking a dedicated, enthusiastic, nurturing and tech-savvy Primary School Classroom Teacher to join their educator team. In this role, you will be responsible for fostering a positive, safe, and stimulating learning environment where young pupils can grow academically, socially, and emotionally. You will design and implement engaging lessons that accommodate diverse learning needs, inspire and help each child reach their full potential.
Duties, Roles and Responsibilities
- Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality, differentiated lessons across core subjects (English, Mathematics, Science, and Social Studies) in alignment with school curriculum standards.
- Utilize a variety of teaching methodologies, including hands-on activities, visual aids, and interactive technology to engage young learners.
- Create a print-rich and organized classroom environment that stimulates curiosity and learning.
- Assess and monitor pupil progress through formal and informal evaluations, including quizzes, portfolios, and daily observations.
- Maintain accurate and complete records of pupils' academic progress, attendance, and behavior.
- Use assessment data to identify pupils who need extra support or extension activities and adjust teaching strategies accordingly.
- Establish clear classroom rules, routines, and expectations for positive behavior.
- Manage pupil behavior kindly and effectively, using constructive and positive reinforcement strategies.
- Foster a safe, inclusive, and respectful classroom culture that supports the emotional and social development of every child.
