Job Description
Duties, Roles and Responsibilities
- Assist in compiling company Quality Plan, Inspection and Test Plan (ITP), and Quality Procedures
- Witness and monitor site piping and mechanical activities, inspection, and test following approved Quality Plan
- Follow the QA/QC management system at sites
- Perform all aspects of piping and mechanical inspection activities with minimum supervision
- Review IFC P&IDs, ISOs and vessel drawings to ensure appropriate WPS are referenced
- Monitor Piping and Mechanical operations and conduct required inspections to resolve quality issues
- Verify that all site activities comply with quality codes and standards
- Coordinate quality site inspections with all site teams and vendors
- Coordinate all non-destructive testing on site and monitor implementation of approved site QC plan
- Inspect and review product material, weld quality, and testing for compliance
- Identify and control all NCRs while correcting with remedial action
- Review radiographic films and witness all pressure testing
