How to Apply
Classroom Environment & Ethos
Foster a respectful, inclusive, and positive learning environment for all students, embracing diversity and individuality.
Maintain a safe, clean, and well-organized physical space, showcasing student work and reporting any issues promptly.
Monitor student attendance, hygiene, and uniform compliance; lead by example in punctuality and appearance.
Teaching & Learning
Assist in the planning and delivery of physical education lessons, ensuring alignment with school goals and curriculum.
Support the development of critical thinking, creativity, ethics, responsibility, and problem-solving skills in students.
Collaborate with other teachers and participate in Professional Learning Communities (PLCs) to enhance instructional strategies.
Track and support student progress; assist in setting and achieving academic performance targets.
Mark homework and provide meaningful feedback to aid student growth.
Community Engagement
Engage with parents through regular communication and parent-teacher conferences to discuss student progress.
Attend all class-level and school-wide meetings, including those relevant to specialist subject areas.
Promote a positive image of the school in both internal and external communities.
Professional Development
Actively participate in ongoing professional development workshops, especially in innovative and student-centered teaching methodologies.
Reflect on personal learning needs and set goals in alignment with the Aga Khan Education Services’ professional growth framework.

Education: Bachelor of Science in Sports Science or a related field.
Experience: Minimum 1 year of teaching experience in a relevant curriculum.
Skills:

Collaborative mindset and ability to work well in a team.
Experience with student-centered pedagogy.
