Job Description
The Pharmacy Sales Representative will focus on building and maintaining relationships with pharmacies and healthcare professionals to promote and increase the sales of Shalina Healthcare’s pharmaceutical products. The role requires attendance at industry meetings and trainings, understanding and implementation of sales strategies, and continuous market analysis to keep pace with competition and customer needs. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the pharmaceutical industry, possess exceptional communication skills, and demonstrate a consistent track record in sales within the Nakuru region.
Duties, Roles and Responsibilities
Build and maintain strong relationships with pharmacies and healthcare professionals in Nakuru.
Attend pharmaceutical meetings, trainings, and seminars to stay informed on industry trends and product updates.
Implement effective sales strategies to ensure market penetration and product availability.
Provide accurate and comprehensive pharmaceutical product information to clients.
Monitor and analyze market trends, competitor activity, and regulatory changes.
Maintain up-to-date records and reports related to sales performance and client engagement.
Meet or exceed sales targets set by the company.
Qualifications, Education and Competencies
Minimum Qualifications:
Degree or Diploma in any Science-related field.
Experience:
At least 1 year of experience in pharmaceutical sales or a related role.
Key Competencies:
Strong knowledge of the Nakuru region and its healthcare landscape.
Familiarity with current market trends and pharmaceutical product lines.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
Highly motivated and goal-oriented with a proven sales track record.
Proficiency in MS Office applications.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
