Job Description

The Personal Assistant will be responsible for managing the Director’s calendar, travel arrangements, confidential communication, and coordination of professional and personal tasks. The role includes liaising with internal teams and external stakeholders, organizing meetings, handling confidential documents, and ensuring the Director’s schedule and priorities are effectively maintained. It is an ideal position for someone with a proactive mindset, strong communication skills, and a professional demeanor.

Duties, Roles and Responsibilities

  • Manage the Director’s calendar, schedule meetings, and coordinate appointments

  • Arrange travel bookings, accommodation, and logistics

  • Handle confidential documents with discretion

  • Act as a liaison between the Director and internal/external contacts

  • Organize and maintain administrative systems

  • Draft correspondence and assist with report preparation

  • Ensure effective time and task management for the Director

  • Provide support for both professional and personal tasks as required

Qualifications, Education and Competencies

Education

  • National Senior Certificate (Matric) or relevant qualification

Experience

  • 3–5 years’ experience in a similar personal/executive assistant role

Skills and Knowledge

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Strong organizational and follow-through abilities

  • Tech-savvy and quick to adapt to new systems

  • High level of professionalism and discretion

Other Requirements

  • Own transport and valid driver’s license

  • Professional appearance and attention to detail
