About the Role:
BondRich Advisory Group Ltd is seeking a meticulous and reliable Payroll Officer to manage and process employee payroll accurately and efficiently. This position requires a high level of confidentiality, strong numerical skills, and a thorough understanding of payroll systems and legal compliance.
Duties, Roles and Responsibilities
Administer full-cycle payroll processing (weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly) for all staff.
Accurately calculate salaries, bonuses, overtime, commissions, and statutory deductions.
Process tax withholdings, retirement contributions, and other government-mandated payments.
Maintain employee records related to payroll, including onboarding, terminations, leave, and salary adjustments.
Reconcile payroll transactions and investigate discrepancies.
Generate and distribute payslips and end-of-year tax statements (e.g., W-2s or equivalent).
Ensure compliance with local, state, and national payroll regulations.
Address and resolve employee payroll inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
Qualifications, Education and Competencies
Technical Requirements:
Proficiency in payroll software such as ADP, Paychex, Xero, MYOB, or similar tools.
Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and data handling.
Knowledge Requirements:
Solid understanding of payroll tax regulations, statutory deductions, garnishments, and benefits administration.
Soft Skills:
High attention to detail and accuracy
Strong sense of integrity and confidentiality
Excellent organizational skills and the ability to meet tight deadlines
Effective communication and problem-solving skills
