MAJOR ACCOUNTABILITIES AND ACTIVITIES

1. Maintain personal and team safety, all other personnel and equipment during plant field inspections while respecting safety guidelines and procedures at all times.
2. Oversea shift Packer operation as per the procedures
3. Responsible for Plant equipment Maintenance and Field Inspections.
4. Report any equipment /Process malfunction within the shift during the operation to the Supervisor immediately.
5. Full participation during plant stoppages and breakdowns as key personnel.
6. Reset alarms on packers local panels
7. Monitor and inspect the plant equipments to verify protection and normal condition of operation.
8. Reset alarms on local panels
9. Read records on status of operating equipments of outgoing shift to determine operational conditions, repair work and other necessary information
10. Maintain a clean environment around the packing plant, and the conveying system from silo extraction. Responsible for House Keeping in his section.
11. Any other jobs assigned.

GOALS - PERFORMANCE APPRAISAL

1. Zero hours lost by accidents / incidents environmental incidents.
2. First level Inspection of equipment using standard checklists and work requests.
3. Safety observations and near misses reported and closed.
4. Shift dispatch of cement as per plant budget;
5. Bags damage rates ≤ 0.3%
6. 95% compliance on weights compliance as per standards to minimise customer complaints.
7. Meeting housekeeping audit target of not less than 85%
