Job Overview
Human Capital Business Solutions Ltd is seeking a dynamic Packaging Team Leader to oversee and guide the packaging team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for supervising packaging operations, coordinating production schedules, ensuring quality and safety standards, and maintaining a productive work environment.
Duties, Roles and Responsibilities
Lead, motivate, and supervise a team of packaging operators.
Assist the Food Controller with administrative duties, including packaging schedules and reporting.
Monitor packaging operations, ensuring product quantity and quality meet set standards.
Plan and coordinate daily packaging priorities, workflows, and schedules.
Identify and report operational or maintenance issues to avoid production delays.
Schedule and supervise routine maintenance of packaging equipment to ensure optimal performance.
Troubleshoot and resolve packaging-related issues such as equipment malfunctions or product defects.
Assign labor resources to support smooth and efficient packaging operations.
Oversee and enforce quality control throughout the packaging process.
Ensure strict adherence to safety guidelines and hygiene standards.
Maintain compliance with company policies and procedures in all packaging activities.
Ensure timely completion of packaging targets and deadlines.
Monitor the functionality and efficiency of packaging machines and tools.
Provide regular updates to the Food Controller regarding packaging status.
Collaborate with other departments to coordinate packaging with overall production.
Assist in resolving workforce issues or disputes when needed.
Communicate daily goals, performance updates, and important instructions to the team.
Maintain accurate records of packaging activities, material usage, and process documentation.

Qualifications, Education and Competencies
Diploma in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field.
Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a biscuit manufacturing or similar food industry environment.
Strong leadership, communication, and team management skills.
In-depth understanding of biscuit production, packaging machinery, and equipment.
Proficiency in quality control processes and safety standards.
Ability to quickly identify and solve operational issues.
Experience in equipment maintenance and scheduling preferred.
Willingness to work extended hours to meet production deadlines.
Strong analytical, organizational, and time management abilities.
Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Comfortable adapting to new or changing situations.
Commitment to continuous learning and improvement.
