Reports To: Food Biscuit Controller
Position Overview
Hariss International is seeking a dynamic and experienced Packaging Team Leader to supervise and coordinate packaging operations within the Biscuit Division. The ideal candidate will lead a team of packaging operators, manage production schedules, ensure quality control, and maintain a safe, efficient, and hygienic work environment.

Lead, guide, and motivate packaging staff to achieve daily targets.
Support the Food Biscuit Controller in preparing schedules, reports, and administrative tasks.
Monitor packaging efficiency and machine performance to ensure proper quantities and quality.
Plan and coordinate daily packaging activities, workflow, and priorities.
Identify and report operational issues to prevent delays and maintain productivity.
Schedule routine maintenance and inspections of packaging machinery.
Troubleshoot and resolve packaging issues, including equipment malfunctions and quality deviations.
Allocate labor and resources to ensure smooth packaging operations.
Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company procedures.
Oversee product quality control throughout the packaging process.
Ensure packaging deadlines are consistently met.
Monitor and report on packaging equipment efficiency and procurement needs.
Liaise with other departments to ensure coordination and timely output.
Address workforce disputes and escalate when necessary.
Communicate daily objectives, updates, and performance expectations to the team.
Maintain accurate documentation of packaging activities and material usage.

Qualifications, Education and Competencies
Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, or a related field.
Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar supervisory role in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Strong leadership, communication, and team management skills.
Hands-on experience with biscuit packaging machinery and production processes is highly preferred.
Solid understanding of quality control standards and safety procedures.
Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
Willingness to work extended hours when necessary.
Ability to adapt to changing demands and new technologies.
Self-motivated and capable of working independently or in a team.
