Job Description
GSR TECHNOLOGY is looking for a dedicated Office Manager to establish and manage their operations in Kigali. The role involves overseeing government relations, office administration, and strategic company setup. The successful candidate will play a key role in building foundational teams and managing vendor relationships to support business growth.
Duties, Roles and Responsibilities
- Build and maintain strong relationships with local government authorities; coordinate with remote management teams in Vietnam to ensure the successful completion of offline company setup procedures.
- Manage company registration, visa applications, and government incentive/benefit procedures.
- Support coordination of government-related projects (preferred experience).
- Provide strategic recommendations on office location and business setup planning.
- Conduct market research and real estate due diligence.
- Work closely with Directors to evaluate investment opportunities and support portfolio management.
- Take primary responsibility for finding office locations, managing leases, and supervising facility readiness (including IT-networking and inner decoration) based on the Company Handbook and local landlord connections.
- Oversee office setup, renovation, and decoration processes.
- Coordinate meetings and support director-level communications.
- Greet visitors and arrange meetings professionally.
- Support HR with interviewing and transportation arrangements.
- Lead the recruitment and interview process for foundational roles, specifically the IT Lead and Admin Lead, to ensure high-quality leadership for local function teams.
- Organize and coordinate operational information and administrative requirements.
- Manage vendor relationships and procurement activities to ensure cost-effective and high-quality service delivery.
- Oversee office supply purchasing, vendor contracts, and inventory control.
- Negotiate with suppliers to optimize value and ensure compliance with company procurement policies.
- Manage travel arrangements, including transportation, accommodation, and related logistics for employees and visitors.
- Partner with other departments to organize internal events and engagement activities.
