Job Description
Reporting to the Administration Office, the Office Administrators Assistant Intern will assist in day-to-day office management including filing, correspondence, front-office support, and record management. The role will also involve handling communications, scheduling appointments, and providing logistical support to county departments. This internship will equip the intern with essential skills in administration, customer service, and office coordination within a public service environment.
Duties, Roles and Responsibilities
Support front-office operations including receiving and directing visitors.
Handle filing, documentation, and correspondence.
Assist in managing office communication including calls, emails, and letters.
Provide support in scheduling and coordinating meetings and appointments.
Maintain and update office records.
Support administrative staff with day-to-day office tasks.
Uphold professionalism, confidentiality, and integrity in office operations.
Qualifications, Education and Competencies
Diploma in Secretarial Studies, Office Administration, or a related field from a recognized institution.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Proficiency in computer applications (MS Office Suite).
Good organizational and multitasking abilities.
Professional demeanor and ability to work well under supervision.
High integrity and commitment to public service values.
