The institution was officially launched on September 21, 2019, by President Dr. William Samoei Ruto.

The Office Administrative Assistant II will perform a range of office support duties including document processing, filing, typing, handling correspondences, and general office management. The role requires someone well-versed in secretarial practices and proficient in computer applications. How to Apply
Typing, formatting, and preparing office documents
Handling incoming and outgoing correspondence
Managing office filing and record-keeping systems
Providing secretarial and administrative support to departments
Receiving and guiding office visitors

For appointment to this grade, a candidate must have:
Served as Office Administrative Assistant III for a minimum period of three (3) yearsAND EITHER:
Passed the following subjects from Kenya National Examination Council (KNEC):
Typewriting II (30 w.p.m.)
Computerized Document Processing I
Business English I / Communication I
Office Practice I
Commerce IOR
Diploma in Secretarial Studies from KNEC or its equivalent from a recognized institutionAND:
A valid Certificate of Good Conduct from the Kenya Police Service
Certificate in Computer Applications
Demonstrated merit and ability as reflected in work performance and results
